Copper busbars from buzzbar – our one-offs, prototypes or small quantities convince through consistent quality.

We stand for efficient production of busbars

Do you need a copper busbar prototype or a small series of copper busbars quickly?

Whether for switchgear, control cabinets or other applications, we manufacture and supply copper busbars according to your design.

buzzbar copper busbars are electrical conductors that transmit signals or high frequencies. As part of a circuit or power network, they provide the connection between the power source and the consumer. To achieve the lowest possible voltage drop, we only use highly conductive pure copper Cu-ETP for your copper busbars. With our buzzbar manufacturing standards for punching, bending, sawing and deburring, we ensure compliance with standards and tolerances.

Possible applications

buzzbar copper bars are used, among other things, as electrical connection elements in high-current technology, high-voltage technology, the electrical industry, the chemical industry, energy supply, renewable energies, storage technology, mechanical engineering and e-mobility.

In addition, copper busbars can be galvanically refined very well, which is why they are often used in electrical engineering for shunts or similar.

FAQ Cu-ETP Copper busbars

What actually is Cu-ETP?

Cu-ETP is an electrolytically refined, oxygen-containing copper with very high thermal and electrical conductivity.

At buzzbar, the focus is always on the efficient production of our busbars to buzzbar standards with consistently high quality. This also applies to our material. That is why we only use highly conductive pure copper Cu-ETP for our busbars. This keeps the voltage drop in your system as low as possible. Our Cu-ETP busbars have a tensile strength of 250 MPa (N/mm²) [R250] and a conductivity of at least 57 MS/m in accordance with DIN EN 13601. The current carrying capacity of copper busbars is generally defined in DIN 43671. Further technical details can be found at here.

What are busbars made of Cu-ETP?

Busbars made of copper Cu-ETP, also known as busbars, are electrical connecting elements (like cable harnesses, only better) in power engineering, high-voltage technology, the electrical industry, the chemical industry, energy supply, switchgear, renewable energies, storage technology, mechanical engineering and electromobility.

You will receive a punched, deburred and bent busbar to buzzbar standard within seven working days.

Our copper busbars for your switch gear

Copper busbars or busbars serve as a central distributor in your switchgear. In order to achieve the lowest possible voltage drop or transport loss, conductive materials such as copper are used for busbars. With the same cross-sectional area, copper offers the best current strength and thus also current density compared to CoppAl® and aluminium.

If the smallest possible cross-section is required, copper is therefore the best choice. With our large semi-finished product range of standard dimensions, you can also order individual pieces or small quantities from buzzbar.
