Even thick busbars can be punched with our machines. With a maximum force of 560 kN, we press almost any shape through the die with the punch. Punching is therefore a fast alternative to CNC machining. The contour of the shape to be punched out is notched from above and below by the cutting edges of the die and the punch and finally sheared off. The slight material breakout in the punching is so form-clean that no burr is produced here! The busbars are clamped laterally by a pair of pliers during processing, thus enabling punching over the entire busbar.
